Adah Sharma Embraces Halloween: ‘Scaring People Keeps Me Fit!’
Adah Sharma ups the Halloween vibe: Scaring people is my cardio
Adah Sharma, known for her role in 1920, sees Halloween as a lifestyle.
Adah Sharma, who gained fame with the supernatural horror film 1920, embraces the Halloween spirit fully. In an exclusive chat, the actor shared her thoughts on costumes, treats, and the delightful chaos of the season.
When asked about her connection to Halloween, she said, “Halloween and I go way back. For me, it’s not just a day, but a lifestyle. It’s the one day everyone matches my vibe. Scaring people is my cardio, an expression of fear that’s fun to master as an actor.”
One amusing moment she shared was about a mannequin in a mall that surprised her by turning its head and speaking. “I totally freaked out, but no one believes me!” she added with a laugh.
Bollywood-Style Halloween Party
When asked how she’d envision a Bollywood-themed Halloween party, Adah playfully remarked, “I’d love for all actors to come without makeup. Not the ‘no makeup’ look, but completely bare-faced.”
Spooky Experiences
Reflecting on her time in Bollywood, she noted, “I often experience unexplainable things on set. My role was once mysteriously cut without warning. I tried to console myself by thinking I was hauntingly good, but it wasn’t even in a ghost film!”
If she were to cast herself in a horror reboot, she has a plot in mind: “I’d love to play a possessed version of Paro from Devdas, teaming up with Chandramukhi to hold all alcoholic men accountable for their actions!”
Favorite Horror Moments
When discussing horror films, her favorite moment stems from a beloved classic: “The staircase scene from Hum Aapke Hain Koun! is forever etched in my mind. It’s traumatizing to see my aunts walking down steps in sarees; I can’t help but worry!”
Current Projects and Halloween Costumes
Currently, Adah is filming another horror movie in Mumbai, excitedly declaring, “I believe this character will be a popular choice for Halloween costumes!”
