The UK rapper Aitch is set to return to Australia after a break.
In January 2026, the BRIT Award winner will embark on a four-date national tour to promote his second album, 4. Organized by Secret Sounds and triple j, the tour kicks off at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on January 3rd, followed by performances in Melbourne, Adelaide, and concluding at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on January 9th.
This marks Aitch’s first headlining tour in Australia since 2022, where he performed sold-out shows and showcased impressive sets at notable events like Splendour in the Grass and Spilt Milk.
Since then, Aitch has stayed active, participating in charitable endeavors as well. Earlier this year, the Manchester-born artist, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, raising over £160,000 for Down Syndrome UK—a cause he deeply cares about. He mentioned, “I’ll always continue to do charity work. It feels like one of those life accomplishments, something I’ll never forget.”
Now at 25, Aitch describes himself as entering the fourth chapter of his career, with 4 serving as a pivotal piece of that narrative. The album debuted at No. 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and achieved a spot in the Top 10 of the Official Albums Chart, driven by tracks like “A Guy Called?” and “Raving In The Studio.”
Reflecting on his journey, he expressed, “I’m in this season of reminding people why I’m here in the first place and why I’m in the position I’m in,” ahead of the album’s launch.
Aitch’s music career took off nearly a decade ago with standout tracks like “Back To Basics” and “Straight Rhymez,” establishing him as one of the sharpest young lyricists in the UK. His 2022 debut album, Close To Home, peaked at No. 2 and featured hits like the platinum-certified “Baby” and the heartfelt tribute “My G,” dedicated to his sister Gracie.
Regarding the title 4, Aitch shared that it has multiple meanings, including his postcode (M40) and the number of works he has released so far, which includes H2O, Polaris, Close To Home, and now 4. “It all just makes sense. I want to give people a piece of where I really come from, a bit of me and where I’m at,” he explained.
Aitch’s growth is characterized by greater honesty and reflection, while he remains committed to spreading joy through his music. “I just wanna see people smile,” he stated. “I don’t see enough of that, and it genuinely makes me sad. I want to see that joy again.”
Tickets for the tour will be available to the public starting at 12 PM local time on Tuesday, July 22nd, with various presales beginning on July 17th. Mastercard holders can access exclusive presales starting at 10 AM on Thursday, July 17th, while Secret Sounds members can get early access beginning Monday, July 21st.
