Experience Oasis Live: Highlights from Their First Australia Tour Concert
## Live Clip from Oasis’ Australian Tour
Oasis has shared a live performance clip from the opening night of their Australian tour. The band lit up Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium last Friday, October 31st, delivering a powerful rendition of “D’You Know What I Mean?” as part of their setlist.
For fans who couldn’t attend the live event, this performance is now available to watch below.
### A Classic Track in Retrospect
Originally released in 1997 as a single from Be Here Now, “D’You Know What I Mean?” marked Oasis’ third UK No. 1 hit, even conquering charts across Europe.
Reflecting on the current tour, a review noted, “The Oasis we see tonight isn’t the band of Knebworth 1996, when they were creating their legend – and their notoriety – in real-time. If you couldn’t be there, perhaps the next best thing is to be here now, amongst the generations who’ve kept their music alive.”
### Praise from Fellow Musicians
In an exclusive interview, Fran Healy, frontman of Travis, shared his admiration for the Gallagher brothers. He recalled meeting them in New York, mentioning that the band feels no pressure during their performances.
“To be in a band with 18 or 20 massive songs is a dream. They could play them effortlessly – it’s like experiencing the best holiday ever, especially with their families on the road enjoying it together.”
### Celebrating “Wonderwall”
Excitingly, Oasis is also marking the 30th anniversary of their iconic song “Wonderwall.”
A limited edition (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? 7″ Singles Box Set is set for release on December 12th. This collection will feature remastered versions of “Wonderwall,” “Some Might Say,” “Roll With It,” and other classics, along with their original B-sides.
This celebration follows the recent launch of the (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, which includes a new unplugged version of “Wonderwall.”
### Upcoming Shows
Oasis is continuing their Australian tour, with more performances scheduled at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium and back-to-back shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on November 7th and 8th. Limited tickets are still available for those looking to catch the legendary band live.
What are your thoughts on these nostalgic performances? Are you excited about the anniversary celebrations?
