Agastya Nanda is gearing up for his film debut in Ikkis, with Simar Bhatia starring alongside him. This movie marks her entry into Bollywood. Interestingly, Simar is related to the celebrated actor Akshay Kumar.

Simar, the daughter of Akshay’s sister Alka Bhatia, has garnered much admiration from her uncle. On Wednesday, following the Ikkis trailer release, Akshay took to social media to express his pride in Simar’s accomplishment.

About Simar’s Role in Ikkis

In Ikkis, Simar will portray the love interest of Agastya’s character, Arun Khetarpal. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is set to release in December. Inspired by the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, the movie also features Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher, and is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.
