Abhinav Kashyap Calls Aamir Khan a ‘Cunning Fox’ in Industry Critique
Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap ignites controversy by labeling Aamir Khan as the most cunning figure in Bollywood.
Celebrated filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, renowned for his work on Dabangg, has stirred the pot again by directing scathing remarks at Aamir Khan. In a recent interview, Kashyap labeled the actor as the “sabse chalaak lomdi” (most cunning fox) in Bollywood, alleging that Aamir often manipulates filmmakers and colleagues to sustain his dominance in the industry. Aamir Khan’s Alleged Manipulation
In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Abhinav leveled serious accusations. He described Aamir as a “manipulative man” who has a penchant for controlling his co-creators. “He finds weaknesses by seducing important people, throwing lavish parties, and distracting them with indulgences,” he asserted. Abhinav further argued that Aamir often dictates filming processes, taking excessive takes yet achieving little difference between them.
Moreover, Kashyap criticized the actor for being overly involved in his projects, stating that this tendency drains the creative energies of collaborators. He referred to Aamir’s obsession with perfectionism as “anal” and detrimental to the art of filmmaking.
Abhinav didn’t hold back in declaring that Aamir has ensnared some of Bollywood’s most respected talents, including Prasoon Joshi and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. He expressed confusion over Aamir’s influence over these prominent figures.
Ongoing Controversies in Bollywood
These comments come in the wake of Abhinav’s previous fallout with Salman Khan and the Dabangg franchise, amplifying discussions around his tumultuous relationships in the film industry. His candid remarks are polarizing; while some view them as revealing truths about Bollywood, others perceive them as part of his ongoing feud with major stars.
