The preparations are intense for Travis Scott’s much-anticipated debut concert in Delhi this weekend. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between BookMyShow and Delhi Tourism on Friday to promote the ‘concert economy’ in India. To ensure security, thousands of police and private security personnel will be present over the two-day event.
According to reports, over 3,400 personnel—including around 1,800 officers from the Delhi Police and 1,600 private security staff—will be deployed to provide a secure environment for fans during the concert.
The Delhi Police have collaborated with the concert organizers to manage road closures and traffic diversions to ensure easy access for attendees.
Part of his CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour, Travis Scott’s performance will take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 18 and 19, with tickets priced between ₹4,000 to ₹30,000. The concert starts at 5 PM, with gates opening at 3 PM for preliminary acts.
On November 19, he is also booked to perform in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Race Course, with ticket prices ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹35,000. Notably, the age limit for attending both concerts is set at 10 years.
In recent news, Travis was in the spotlight after facing entry issues at a private event in Ibiza, where even Leonardo DiCaprio was briefly held up for checks.
