Jatadhara trailer: On Friday, Mahesh Babu unveiled the trailer of Venkat Kalyan’s upcoming supernatural thriller Jatadhara. Starring his brother-in-law, Sudheer Babu, alongside Shilpa Shirodkar and Sonakshi Sinha, the trailer teases the film’s intriguing plot.
The Jatadhara trailer hints at the use of black magic as not just a ritual, but a significant force that brings chaos. Sudheer headlines the role of a ghost hunter skeptical about the existence of spirits, while Shilpa’s character, driven by avarice, inadvertently releases a pishachini played by Sonakshi. Sudheer must confront this malevolent entity and rediscover his beliefs before time runs out.
Mahesh Babu took to social media to launch the Jatadhara trailer and express his best wishes for the film, stating, “Here’s the trailer of #Jatadhara…My best wishes to the entire team for a grand success.” Namrata also celebrated Sudheer and Shilpa’s performances, posting, “Loved the #JatadharaTrailer visuals… everything looks so perfect!!! So happy to see you in a fresh role @isudheerbabu and rooting big for @shilpashirodkar73.” Shilpa responded with warmth, acknowledging Namrata as her biggest supporter.
In a recent interview, Sudheer described his role as one of his most daunting portrayals. He stated, “This is one of the most intense and challenging roles I’ve taken on. The story’s depth and the energy it carries are unlike anything I’ve experienced before.” Sonakshi added that Jatadhara is powerful because it intertwines supernatural elements with real human emotions, stating, “The fear here isn’t just external; it lingers in your mind long after the story ends.”
Presented by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, Jatadhara is brought to life by producers Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, alongside co-producers Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora. This highly anticipated film is set to release on November 7 in both Hindi and Telugu.
