Mamitha Baiju Accidentally Breaks Pradeep Ranganathan’s Phone on Set
Pradeep Ranganathan recounts an incident with Mamitha Baiju at Dude’s pre-release event.
In anticipation of the release of the romantic drama *Dude,* set to hit theaters on 17 October, the cast hosted a pre-release event in Hyderabad. During the occasion, Pradeep Ranganathan shared an amusing story about how his co-star, Mamitha Baiju, accidentally broke his phone.
The Funny Incident
Taking center stage, Pradeep humorously reflected on Mamitha’s high energy during their photoshoot for the film. He stated, “During a photo shoot, she had so much energy that she began kicking me. I was even pulling her hair during one of the scenes we recreated at the event, but that’s just a fraction of what happened!” Mamitha was seen laughing in the background.
Continuing his story, Pradeep mentioned that one of her kicks sent his phone flying out of his pocket, landing on a neighboring terrace. “It broke! I have my phone here if you want to see,” he quipped, holding up his damaged device. He playfully chastised Mamitha, saying, “You kicked it! If it were your phone, you’d remember it, right? I don’t get new phones often. This is my iPhone 12 Pro Max. So, if you want me to buy a new one, you’ll need to pitch in!”
