Twice’s Singapore Concert: A Unforgettable K-Pop Live Experience
Let’s clear the air: Yes, I attended Twice’s concert, “This Is For,” in South Korea last July. However, my experience doesn’t bias my review. Instead, it reinforces my position, as I’ve had the pleasure of watching Twice perform more times than I can count.
That said, I must be honest. I found Twice’s concert in South Korea to be superior to their show in Singapore.
Nevertheless, even without the sub-unit songs and the iconic encore wheel, Twice’s concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium proved to be one of the most exhilarating live performances witnessed in the country this year.
For two and a half hours, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu delivered an unforgettable performance.
Whether it was Nayeon and Jihyo effortlessly belting out the challenging track “Mars,” or Dahyun charming the audience with her playful Singlish, each member showcased their unique strengths. Momo and Mina drew huge cheers with their captivating dance moves while Sana and Tzuyu engaged fans with delightful interactions.
Their solo stages were undoubtedly a highlight of the night. Unlike in the previous “Ready To Be” tour, each member presented an original piece spanning various genres, underscoring their evolution as artists.
Jeongyeon’s country-inspired “Fix A Drink” marked a significant sonic shift for the group, displaying her unique flair. Meanwhile, Chaeyoung’s “Shoot (Firecracker)” from her solo album highlighted her whimsical charm and individuality.
Of course, no Twice concert is complete without mentioning their signature unity and precision. This was evident on Saturday night, with all nine members moving in perfect harmony, especially during challenging performances like “Fancy,” “I Can’t Stop Me,” and “Set Me Free.”

These performances would be a challenge for most groups, but Twice elevated it with a fully immersive 360-degree stage design.
This setup ensured that every audience member enjoyed a fantastic view, regardless of their seat. I had the chance to experience various sections of the venue, and each provided a unique perspective, almost like enjoying a fresh show each time.
For Twice, mastering the circular stage required relearning their choreography, yet they executed each movement with near-perfect precision, transitioning smoothly between songs.
Visually, the concert was a feast for the eyes. Massive LED screens enveloped the stage, creating a fully immersive atmosphere that enhanced the performance. The rendition of “One Spark” was particularly spellbinding, as the screens erupted with a dazzling display of fireworks, showering the venue in light and energy.

Ultimately, Twice’s “This Is For” concert in Singapore was more than just a tour stop; it was a testament to the group’s unrelenting spirit, even as they approach their 10th year.
With unparalleled artistry, immense discipline, and a deep connection with their fans, the nine members continue to reign supreme as K-pop icons. By the end of the night, it was clear that Twice shows no signs of relinquishing their status as one of the greatest K-pop girl groups, solidifying their legacy for years to come.
