ACP Sanyukta Das (played by Konkona Sen Sharma) is leaving her crime cell role for a more accommodating position. However, the shocking murder of a teenager pulls her back into the fray. As she investigates the case, links to a local politician arise, raising stakes for everyone involved, including the girl’s grief-stricken parents.

“Search” dives straight into the investigation, skillfully establishing character backstories while unfolding the murder mystery. The show’s pacing keeps viewers engaged, and Konkona’s portrayal of a mother trying to juggle her career and family resonates strongly.

Surya Sharma adds humor and charm, making his character relatable without crossing into caricature. Other notable performances include Iravati Harshe, who brings emotional depth to her role as a grieving mother, and Shiv Pandit, who fits seamlessly into his slightly clichéd character.
