Recently, the trailer for the Hollywood film The Lost Bus, featuring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera, caught the attention of numerous fans in India. They noted that the background music used in a particular segment bears a striking resemblance to the score in Salaar, starring Prabhas.
Particularly, a section starting around the 1:10 mark led many to express their thoughts on social media, suggesting that the two pieces of music are nearly identical. The score for Salaar was crafted by composer Ravi Basrur.

One fan tweeted, “Listen to the background music from 1:13; it’s the same as Salaar’s BGM.” Another chimed in, “Did anyone else hear Salaar’s music here?” A third user remarked, “The BGM at 1:22 seconds was definitely from Salaar, and Ravi Basrur mentioned he received calls from Hollywood for music projects.”

About Salaar
Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, boasts an impressive cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan. The film is set in a fictional dystopian city called Khansaar, exploring the bond between Deva, portrayed by Prabhas, and the prince Varadha, played by Prithviraj.
On the other hand, The Lost Bus tells the inspiring true story of Kevin McKay, a school bus driver who heroically rescued children and teachers amid the catastrophic 2018 Camp Fire in California. The film premiered on Apple TV+ on October 3.
