What Sanjay said
In a recent post on X, Sanjay Gupta stated, “It’s simply FRUSTRATING how poor the new content on OTT platforms has been. Sanjay praises Mark Ruffalo’s “Task”
Among the few shows that impressed him, Sanjay highlighted “Task,” available on JioHotstar. The series features a Philadelphia FBI agent (played by Mark Ruffalo) tackling intense family dynamics while leading a task force. It has garnered outstanding reviews and consists of seven episodes.
Sanjay has previously praised “Task” on Twitter, calling it “Dark, atmospheric, moody… TASK on HBO is superb. Such consistency of great quality from them.”
On the other hand, he found “Monster: The Ed Gein Story,” released on Netflix, falling short of expectations. This series dramatizes the life of one of America’s infamous serial killers and is the latest installment following similar chronicles of Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez Brothers.
Known for directing notable films such as Aatish, Kaante, Kaabil, and Shootout at Lokhandwala, Sanjay has previously praised various new talents in his tweets, including Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s “Saiyaara.”
