Awez Darbar expresses frustration over Shehbaz Badesha’s jokes aimed at other contestants in Bigg Boss 19.
Shehnaaz Gill gained immense popularity from her participation in Bigg Boss 13. Now, her brother, Shehbaz Badesha, is attempting to win viewers over as a contestant on Bigg Boss 19. However, his recent comments about fellow contestant Pranit More’s appearance have sparked significant backlash online. Evicted contestant Awez Darbar has also criticized Shehbaz regarding his sense of humor.
In a post-eviction interview, Awez was confronted about Shehbaz’s reputation for being humorous in the house. Clearly upset, he responded, “Does Shehbaz make jokes? Those aren’t jokes! They aren’t even worth anything. He just pokes fun at others, pretending it’s humor, which it clearly isn’t. The real jokes were from Shehnaaz, and he’s not even close to her level.”
During the premiere, Shehbaz initially lost against Mridul Tiwari but managed to enter the house later as a wildcard contestant. He even received praise from Salman Khan, who noted his increased visibility compared to other contestants.
However, this week, criticism escalated towards Shehbaz after he mocked Pranit’s appearance and hygiene, alongside unwarranted jabs at Ashnoor Kaur. Many viewers found his behavior annoying and even expressed a desire for his removal from the show.
Recent Developments in Bigg Boss 19
The drama has escalated further following a heated altercation between Amaal Mallik and Abhishek Bajaj during a captaincy task. Their conflict became physical, causing housemates to intervene. Subsequently, the contestants split into two factions, protesting by removing their microphones and demanding clarity from Bigg Boss, who firmly reprimanded them for their misconduct.
Tonight’s episode will likely clarify who was at fault in the Amaal–Abhishek clash. The show airs daily at 9 pm on JioHotstar and at 10:30 pm on Colors TV.
