5 Seconds of Summer Unveils Special Events for Fans

5 Seconds of Summer is gearing up for an exciting world tour next year.

Kicking off in Ireland and the UK in March, this newly announced tour will take the Australian band across Europe, North America, New Zealand, and Australia. The tour will come to an end with a performance in Perth on November 6th.

In Australia and New Zealand, 5SOS is set to perform in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth (check out the full tour dates below).

Tickets will be available to the general public starting Friday, October 31st at 9 AM local time.

Along with the tour announcement, 5SOS has dropped a new single titled “Telephone Busy,” a teaser from their upcoming album Everyone’s a Star!, scheduled for release on November 14th. You can listen to their new track below.

Their sixth studio album will also include last month’s hit single, “NOT OK.” This upcoming project marks the group’s first collaboration with Republic Records.

The band’s previous album, 5SOS5, launched on September 23rd, 2022, and was widely successful. It claimed the No. 1 spot in Australia—marking their fifth consecutive chart-topping album—and also reached No. 1 in the UK and No. 2 in the US.

In a list of the 100 best Australian albums of the 2020s so far, 5SOS5 secured the 22nd position. Additionally, solo albums from three of the four band members ranked at No. 51, No. 50, and No. 49, respectively.

Bassist Calum Hood recently shared insights on the band’s future musical endeavors. He spoke about his debut solo album, ORDER chaos ORDER, and hinted at what fans can expect next from 5SOS.

“We’re always planning. The 5SOS cog in the music world never stops. In fact, it’s probably the hardest-working cog,” he noted. “There’s always conversations going on—people dreaming up ideas—‘What if we do this, what if we do that?’ So don’t worry, there’s always something happening.”
