## CMA Awards Nominations Announced
On Monday, the nominations for the 59th annual CMA Awards were unveiled, highlighting three formidable female artists at the forefront. Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson each garnered six nominations, including the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year category, which also recognizes Kelsea Ballerini and Miranda Lambert.
## Entertainer of the Year Contestants
Lainey Wilson will share the stage with prominent male artists for the Entertainer of the Year award. Competitors include Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and last year’s winner, Morgan Wallen.
## New Artist of the Year Nominees
Earlier in the day, the nominees for New Artist of the Year were announced. This year’s list features a mix of fresh faces and repeat nominees, including Shaboozey and Zach Top. The five contenders this time are Shaboozey, Top, Langley, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
## Album of the Year Competition
In a closely watched Album of the Year category, Megan Moroney’s **Am I Okay?** faces stiff competition from Zach Top’s **Cold Beer & Country Music**, Post Malone’s **F-1 Trillion**, Wallen’s **I’m the Problem**, and Wilson’s **Whirlwind**.
The 59th CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 19, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, with streaming available on Hulu the day after.
