Olivia Rodrigo Unveils ‘Live at Glastonbury’ Album with Robert Smith Covers
## Olivia Rodrigo’s Exciting Live Releases
Olivia Rodrigo is making waves with her recent live performances, including two memorable collaborations with **Robert Smith** of The Cure at Glastonbury. As she gears up for a new live album, fans can expect to relive her entire headlining show from earlier this summer.
### A Stunning Performance at Glastonbury
Rodrigo’s set at the iconic Pyramid stage in June received glowing reviews, particularly highlighting Robert Smith’s guest appearance. In her introduction, she referred to him as a “Glastonbury legend,” noting that The Cure has headlined the festival multiple times. She expressed admiration for Smith, calling him “perhaps the best songwriter to come out of England” and “a personal hero.”
Together, they performed two beloved tracks from The Cure’s catalog: “Friday I’m in Love” from 1992 and “Just Like Heaven” from 1987. Both songs are now available for streaming, with an official performance video of “Friday I’m in Love” on Rodrigo’s YouTube channel. The proceeds from these recordings will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
### New Album on the Way
In addition to her collaborations, Rodrigo has announced that *Live From Glastonbury (A BBC Recording)* is available for pre-order. This 20-track album will be released as a double-LP on transparent magenta and periwinkle vinyl, with shipping scheduled for December 5. The full album will also be available on streaming platforms that day.
The track list includes not only her performances with Smith but also numerous hits from her acclaimed albums, *Sour* (2021) and *Guts* (2023). Rodrigo has been on the road for much of the past two years, supporting her latest release, with this summer marking the end of her tour.
### More Festival Highlights
Glastonbury wasn’t the only major event for Rodrigo this year. She had several memorable moments with surprise guests as well. At Lollapalooza, she joined forces with **Weezer** to perform “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Additionally, during **Governors Ball**, she teamed up with **David Byrne** for a rendition of the Talking Heads classic, “Burning Down the House.”
