Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen Reunite for Their First Red Carpet in 20 Years

Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen shared a memorable red carpet moment, marking a reunion that was two decades in the making.

At the premiere event for Netflix’s “aka Charlie Sheen” documentary held last Thursday, the former couple appeared genuinely happy as they posed together.

Their interaction included a warm hug during their time on the step-and-repeat, a display of camaraderie and fondness from their past.

Richards, 54, looked stunning in high-waisted black satin pants paired with a sparkling cropped tank. Sheen, donning a tailored suit, embraced his ex-wife during the event.

The last time they appeared together on a red carpet was in February 2005, just a month before Richards filed for divorce.

Despite their history, Richards and Sheen have maintained a level of friendship. They share two daughters, Sami, now 21, and Lola, now 20. Their divorce was finalized in November 2006, just a year after their separation.

Richards is featured in Sheen’s documentary, alongside one of his other ex-wives, Brooke Mueller. The project explores Sheen’s acting career and journey to sobriety.

Interestingly, this appearance follows Sheen’s recent participation in “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” reflecting a rekindling of their relationship.

Although Richards was married to Aaron Phypers during filming, they have since separated, leading to a difficult public feud. She has accused her ex-husband of “frequent” physical abuse, while Phypers has denied these allegations.

Recently, Richards clarified their current dynamic, expressing a desire for a closer friendship with Sheen for the sake of their daughters, but affirmed there’s “no discord” between them.

“aka Charlie Sheen” premieres on Netflix on a Wednesday, coinciding with the release of Sheen’s memoir, “The Book of Sheen.”
