TWICE Poised for Second Contract Renewal with JYP Before 10th Anniversary

The beloved K-pop girl group TWICE has recently thrilled fans with their long-awaited comeback, featuring their fourth full-length album, *THIS IS FOR*. Alongside the album release, they kicked off their world tour with two sold-out shows at Incheon’s Inspire Arena on July 19 and 20.

As excitement builds, all nine members are reportedly set to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment, as highlighted by MHN Sports on July 21.

Contract Renewal: A Milestone for TWICE

Members Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are preparing to extend their exclusive contracts with JYP Entertainment for a second term. Their first renewal occurred in July 2022, just before their initial contracts ended in October of that year. This extension signifies a notable achievement for the girl group, reflecting their strong bond with their agency.

TWICE has successfully navigated the K-pop industry’s notorious “seven-year curse,” where many groups face disbandment or changes after seven years. Now, they are on the brink of celebrating their 10th anniversary since debuting on October 20, 2015, with their first EP, *The Story Begins*.

While the buzz around TWICE’s contract renewal grows, JYP Entertainment has not yet released any official confirmation regarding the reports.

Details on TWICE’s Latest Album and World Tour

TWICE’s new album, *THIS IS FOR*, features 14 tracks, including the title song and the opening track “Four.” Other group songs consist of “Options,” “Mars,” “Right Hand Girl,” “Peach Gelato,” “Hi Hello,” “Seesaw,” and “Heartbreak Avenue.” Additionally, unique unit releases like “Battitude,” “Dat Ahh Dat Ooh,” “Let Love Go,” “G.O.A.T.,” and “Talk” have been included.

Moreover, each member will perform nine solo tracks specifically created for their world tour, and these tracks are not part of the album. The *THIS IS FOR Part 1 World Tour* began with domestic performances and will conclude with concerts in Bangkok at Impact Arena on December 13 and 14. Additionally, TWICE is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2.
