Lee Soo Hyuk Signs with Sooyoung's SARAM Ent After Leaving YG Entertainment

Lee Soo Hyuk’s New Journey with SARAM Entertainment

Lee Soo Hyuk has officially started a new chapter in his career by signing an exclusive contract with SARAM Entertainment, as reported by The Fact, a K-media outlet. This new association comes after he concluded his eight-year collaboration with YG Entertainment, making way for fresh opportunities. Under SARAM, he joins other notable talents such as Park Gyu Young and Sooyoung from Girls’ Generation.

Transition from YG Entertainment

Previously, Lee Soo Hyuk was part of YG Entertainment, which managed him for over eight years. He joined the agency in March 2017 and was associated with them until recently. The decision for this transition came following YG Entertainment’s announcement that they would cease their actor management operations to refocus on their core strength—music. This shift has been a significant move in the industry, marking the end of an era for many artists.

In January, YG confirmed the closure of its actor management division, paving the way for talent like Lee to seek new representation. Reports suggest that this division has not been profitable in recent years, prompting the company to concentrate on its successful music department.

Joining SARAM Entertainment

On July 14, SARAM Entertainment announced their partnership with Lee Soo Hyuk, stating, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Lee Soo Hyuk.” The agency emphasized their commitment to fully support him as he continues to cultivate his unique identity as both an actor and a top model, with aspirations for global engagement.

SARAM hosts several other prominent actors, such as Gong Myung and Sooyoung from Second Shot at Love, among a list of skilled talents including Claudia Kim and Yoon So Hee.

SARAM’s official Instagram account warmly welcomed Lee Soo Hyuk to their roster, hinting at promising ventures ahead. Currently, he is starring in the new drama S Line, sharing the screen with Arin and Lee Da Hee.
