Demna’s Debut at Gucci: An Exciting New Chapter
Designer Demna has announced that his inaugural show for Gucci will be held in March 2026. This decision results in the cancellation of the traditional spring/summer womenswear show, which normally takes place at the end of September.
Vision Development
In a recent conversation with fashion journalist Suzy Menkes, Demna expressed the need for sufficient time to fully develop his vision for the brand, stating, "I need more than two months to develop a vision." This exchange was shared in a video posted on Menkes’ Instagram account.
Embracing Gucci’s Heritage
Demna also emphasized his commitment to reconnecting the public with the essence of the Gucci brand. He aims to remind everyone of what makes Gucci truly special during this transition period.
