Reflecting on his journey, Dayal expressed that the elimination felt “gutting.” He almost didn’t join the competition, admitting, “I actually turned it down at first. I didn’t consider myself a celebrity.” Yet, he ultimately decided to embrace the opportunity rather than miss out.
Rising as the Giant Slayer
Throughout the competition, Dayal earned the moniker of “the quiet assassin,” taking out formidable players such as Portia Woodman-Wickliffe and Ben Barrington. Surprisingly, he didn’t expect to advance as far as he did, stating, “I’m quite a relaxed person, and you’ve got to be confident to win those challenges.”

‘I Didn’t Feel Like I Deserved to Be There’
Looking back at his experience, Dayal revealed the elimination could have transpired differently. Holding onto an advantage card that could have spared him, he opted not to use it because he wished to remain true to his principles.
“I decided I only wanted to use the card on day 11, and I stuck to that. I wanted a fair fight,” he explained.
Initially, he felt out of place, admitting, “I didn’t really feel like I deserved to be there.” However, through forming bonds with his fellow contestants, he began to adjust and realize his worth.
“You get so close to people so quickly. You talk all the time, and you get to know everyone’s story. It’s actually quite special,” he added.
Possibility of a Return
Could Dayal make a comeback? His answer was enthusiastic: “100%,” he laughed, hinting that the giant slayer may not be done yet.
