Makers of Prabhas’s upcoming film have responded to recent rumors claiming that the release of The Raja Saab may be postponed. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad has urged fans and media to disregard these speculations, asserting that the film will indeed debut on Sankranthi 2026.
Amidst reports suggesting a delay in the release date, TG Vishwa Prasad clarified the situation. He stated, “The ongoing speculation about a shift in the release date for The Raja Saab is entirely unfounded. The film will hit theaters on January 9, 2026, as planned. Our post-production is progressing smoothly.”
The producer emphasized that all teams involved in post-production are working cohesively. “We are committed to delivering a spectacular film experience, and every department is collaborating perfectly to achieve this goal,” he added.
Vishwa Prasad concluded with a message for Prabhas’ fans: “Please disregard the rumors and look forward to the joy that this Sankranthi will bring. We will soon start rolling out promotional materials that will excite fans.”
The Raja Saab marks a significant return for Prabhas to the masala film genre, as he has only participated in action-oriented projects since the Baahubali series. Directed by Maruthi, this film also includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani in its impressive cast.
