Mass Jathara Box Office Collection Day 2: Ravi Teja’s Film Faces Tough Competition
Mass Jathara box office collection shows mixed results amid competition from Baahubali: The Epic.
Mass Jathara box office collection day 2: Bhanu Bogavarapu’s debut film, starring Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, hit theaters on November 1, with paid previews one day prior. Unfortunately, it faced stiff competition from SS Rajamouli’s re-release of Baahubali: The Epic. Though it performed better than Ravi’s previous venture, “Mr. Bachchan,” Mass Jathara is still striving to gain traction at the box office.
Ravi Teja plays the lead role in Mass Jathara.
Mass Jathara Box Office Collection Overview
According to trade reports, Mass Jathara collected around ₹2.9 crore during its premiere on Friday. Following this, it earned approximately ₹3.75 crore on Saturday, and about ₹3 crore on Sunday, bringing its net total to around ₹9.65 crore in India.
While these numbers show a slight improvement compared to “Mr. Bachchan,” which garnered ₹6.35 crore over two days, Mass Jathara remains significantly overshadowed by Baahubali: The Epic. The latter, despite being a re-release, has amassed around ₹18.05 crore in its initial two days, including premieres.
The film’s lukewarm response during the opening weekend leads to questions about its performance in the coming week and its ability to close the gap with Baahubali: The Epic.
About Mass Jathara
Mass Jathara is a commercial entertainer directed by Bhanu, produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. Ravi Teja and Sreeleela take center stage, supported by a talented ensemble including Naveen Chandra and Rajendra Prasad, among others.
The plot revolves around Laxman Bheri (Ravi), a railway policeman battling against the injustices he encounters, even when it extends beyond his jurisdiction. His primary opponent is Sivudu (Naveen), a major player in an illegal marijuana operation. After several delays, the film finally released on October 31, although it had to contend with the timing of Baahubali’s re-release.
