The television couple, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, are at the center of speculation regarding their marriage after 15 years together. Recent rumors suggested that their divorce was finalized between July and August 2025. In response, Mahhi released a video on her YouTube channel, addressing the alleged ₹5 crore alimony claim.

In her video message, Mahhi emphasized, “Jab proof ho, tab baat kijiye. Mujhe alimony hi samajh nahi aata. Mujhe lagta hai woh paise uss insaan ke hain jisne kamaye hain.” She believes that a woman’s right to financial support only applies to those who have not worked throughout their lives.

Mahhi further encouraged women to seek independence and not rely on their husband’s or father’s money. While she did not outright confirm the divorce, she asked for respect regarding their family’s privacy, stating, “Please do not believe any news until I say it. Jay is my family, and he will always be my family.”

The couple married in 2010 and are parents to three children: their biological daughter Tara and two adopted kids, Rajveer and Khushi.
