Emraan Hashmi discusses Aryan Khan, his cameo in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and his role as an onscreen intimacy coach
Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, long affectionately dubbed the ‘serial kisser,’ recently showcased his fanbase through a memorable cameo in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In this show, Emraan played the role of an intimacy coach alongside lead stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba.
During his appearance at HT City’s Stars In the City, Emraan shared insights about Aryan’s directorial skills and his humorous take on intimacy advice requests.
Emraan revealed that the script for his role initially had a different premise. He explained, “Initially, I was supposed to have a scene at a film premiere where a fan, played by Raghav, would sing about me. A month before the shoot, Aryan approached me with the intimacy coach idea, and I couldn’t say no!”
Emraan lauded the entire team, noting that he received surprising feedback on the scene’s popularity. “Just six hours after airing, the head of Netflix called to tell me how viral it went. People are watching the third episode just for that scene!”
When directly asked for tips on intimacy, Emraan humorously stated, “I charge for that. I’m very expensive.” He also shared an amusing tidbit about the filming process, commenting on Aryan’s love for retakes, which contributed to the humor and liveliness on set.
