Ayushmann Khurrana Celebrates Thamma’s Milestone with a Special Tribute

Two years post the release of Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann Khurrana made his return to cinemas with Thamma over Diwali. This film marks his and Rashmika Mandanna’s debut in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. As anticipated, Thamma includes humorous nods to previous films such as Stree and Munjya, complete with a notable cameo from Varun Dhawan as Bhediya. Just a week after its release, Thamma celebrated its entry into the 100 crore club, prompting Ayushmann to unite with a relative from this comedic universe.

One standout joke in Thamma that had audiences in stitches was Abhishek Banerjee’s character mistaking Ayushmann’s Alok for Bittu, a character played by his brother Aparshakti Khurana in Stree. To celebrate Thamma’s success, the Khurana brothers collaborated on a humorous video where Aparshakti jokingly stated, “Hum toh soche ki Bicky ki girlfriend hi bhootiya hai… Yahan toh humaara apna bhai bhi bhootiya nikla 🧛”… Check it out below!

He added, “It was almost impossible to keep a straight face while filming.
