Priya Sachdev Embraces Sunjay Kapur’s Legacy While Battling Karisma Kapoor’s Children

In her latest post, Priya provided insights into her recent interactions with the leadership at Sona Comstar’s Chennai plant and R&D center. She dedicated two days to meet with team members and engage in their day-to-day operations.

Accompanying her reflections were photos that depicted her touring the facilities, discussing production processes, and even standing next to a tree planted by her late husband in 2022.

“I spent two enriching days with our leadership team at Sona Comstar, engaging in meaningful conversations about innovation and growth,” Priya expressed. “I witnessed the dedication of engineers perfecting details and creating in-house machines, a true testament to innovation driven by passion.”

She also remarked, “In the pursuit of excellence, I am reminded that people, not machines, drive progress, fueled by their passion and perseverance.”

Priya also shared valuable insights on effective leadership, stating, “Leadership is more about presence than direction. It involves listening, learning, and caring for the team, leading to quality and innovation.” She concluded positively, expressing pride in the team’s strides and a willingness to return for further insights.

Legal Proceedings

On another note, Priya is currently embroiled in legal battles involving Karisma Kapoor’s children. The siblings, Samaira and Kiaan, along with Karisma as their guardian, are contesting the validity of Sunjay’s will, alleging it was forged. They claim their father assured them of their shares, which are missing from the document presented by Priya.

This legal struggle intensified when Priya presented a will purportedly executed on March 21 during a family meeting in July. The Delhi High Court is currently considering the case, with accusations being exchanged between both parties.

Sunjay Kapur, who passed away unexpectedly in June during a polo match in London, was married to Karisma from 2003 until 2016, having two children together. He wed Priya in 2017 and continued to build his business legacy until his untimely demise.
