Duff has been collaborating in the studio with her husband, Matthew Koma, who co-produced her last album, Breathe In. Breathe Out, launched in 2015. Koma has an impressive background, having worked with various artists such as Zedd and Carly Rae Jepsen.
In her words, “I always knew I was going to return to music. I needed to feel safe and have the right support. Honestly, I needed to have 10 years of life experiences to share.” She emphasized that her upcoming album encapsulates her thoughts and feelings, and she’s eager to connect with fans on a deeper level once again.
A New Recording Contract
In September, Duff signed a recording deal with Atlantic Records, which has sparked a noticeable surge in interest. Searches for Hilary Duff on Spotify soared by 400%, and there was an impressive 80% increase in U.S. streams of her previous work, along with a 75% rise in first-time listeners.
Upcoming Projects
Additionally, Duff is set to appear in a new docuseries directed by Sam Wrench, known for his work on Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
“All of the things are happening,” she teased. While she couldn’t reveal too many details, she expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s all in motion. It’s exciting.”
