Renowned actress Shabana Azmi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of her dear friend Satish Shah, who passed away in Mumbai. Reflecting on their college days, she remembered Satish as a vibrant person dedicated to making others smile, lamenting that his time has come too soon.

On her Instagram, Shabana posted a photograph from a recent lunch that included herself, Satish, and other college pals. In her heartfelt caption, she wrote, “This photo was taken a couple of years ago on Roopa Shaikh’s birthday. Last year we lost her to cancer, and now #Satish Shah is gone. We were in college together and I often bumped into him at friends’ homes. Always vibrant, always lively, he is gone too soon. Farooq Shaikh and he were a duo … Bichde sabhi baari baari (all are leaving one by one) …”

Farooque Shaikh, also a beloved figure, passed away in December 2013 following a heart attack while vacationing in Dubai. He had a long career in notable films like *Shatranj Ke Khiladi* and *Chashme Buddoor*.

Satish Shah Dead at 74

Satish Shah’s life came to an abrupt end on Saturday after he collapsed while having lunch at his home in Mumbai. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he could not be revived. Notably, he had undergone a kidney transplant a few months earlier and had been grappling with health issues.

This talented actor was well-known for his iconic roles in beloved television shows such as *Sarabhai vs Sarabhai* and *Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi*, as well as in films including *Kal Ho Naa Ho* and *Main Hoon Na*.
