Standout creator of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, JD Majethia, is still coming to terms with the loss of his close friend and renowned actor Satish Shah, who sadly passed away recently. According to Majethia, Satish’s health had been deteriorating following a kidney transplant a few months prior.

JD Majethia’s Last Conversation with Satish Shah

On the same day, Satish Shah’s manager confirmed his passing to the news agency PTI at age 74.

Speaking to reporters, JD Majethia expressed his heartfelt sorrow, stating, “It breaks my heart to confirm that my dear friend Satish is no longer with us.” He noted Shah passed away at home after being rushed to the hospital too late for medical intervention.

Interestingly, Majethia revealed that Shah had been optimistic about his recovery. Just days before his passing, he expressed eagerness to return to shooting a project in November. “Satish Shah had been unwell recently; he underwent a kidney transplant and later faced complications due to an infection,” said Majethia.

Recalling their last interaction, he shared, “I spoke with him just a couple of days ago, and he sounded completely positive.” It was a shocking turn of fate, as Majethia had planned to visit but missed the opportunity due to timing.

Majethia further elaborated on their last exchange: “During that call, he said he was about to sleep and promised we would meet again. Sadly, that moment will never come.”
