Sreeleela Celebrates a Unique Diwali in Mumbai Instead of Hyderabad

Sreeleela celebrates Diwali in Mumbai, reflecting on home traditions while working.

Sreeleela is gearing up for Diwali this year in Mumbai, as she balances shooting for her upcoming movie alongside Kartik Aaryan. She shared, “I think I’ll be shooting this year. Diwali has always been about diyas, decorations, and family coming together. We decorate our home and ensure everything is safe, avoiding curtains that could catch fire. It’s a time of pretty dresses and festive photographs, and I stay clear of dangerous firecrackers.”

She reminisces about Diwali family traditions, stating, “It’s a time when even cousins we haven’t seen in months gather to celebrate. This year is different since I will be in Mumbai instead of Hyderabad. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! I enjoy indulging in the sweets during the festivities.”

During the festive season, Sreeleela also enjoys her time in the kitchen. She fondly recalls, “I used to be heavily involved in making sweets at home, especially payasam. The kitchen conversations are priceless; my grandma shares stories from her childhood, and we all bond over cooking.”

Choosing Outfits and Celebrations

Selecting her traditional outfit for Diwali is often a family affair. Sreeleela shares, “My mom or grandma usually helps me choose my outfit. When I dine out, I opt for something designer, but for home, I love wearing handloom. I’m cautious not to wear satin or other materials that might be flammable.”
