Kantara Chapter 1, directed by Rishab Shetty, has captivated viewers and generated impressive box office numbers. Despite slowing down following its second week, the film has made significant waves, now crossing the impressive ₹500 crore mark domestically within just 17 days.

Recently, reports indicate that Kantara Chapter 1 has sustained a strong presence at the box office. On day 15, the film took in ₹8.85 crore, followed by ₹8.5 crore on day 16, and ₹7.24 crore on its third Saturday. These figures have helped push the total net collections in India to an impressive ₹500.99 crore.

With the festive season of Diwali approaching, the film anticipates a potential boost in earnings. However, it will also face strong competition from Maddock Films’ upcoming release, Thamma, scheduled for October 21.

Recently, Rishab Shetty appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. During the show, Bachchan praised Shetty for his directorial work on Kantara Chapter 1 and acknowledged the film’s success.
