Anita Hassanandani on TV actors being paid less
Anita revealed that many television actors today are receiving significantly lower salaries compared to their previous earnings. She remarked, “Pehle jitna milta tha TV actors ko, ab utna nahi milta hai because budgets have gone down. Itne saare shows hai and itne saare mediums. And also, there are actors who are working for less amount, so people think paise bachao.”
She further elaborated on her personal situation, indicating that the trend of lower pay began post-Covid. “When I came back, I got less than what my per-day pay used to be,” she explained. Despite the reduction in her salary, Anita expressed that her primary concern was resuming work rather than monetary compensation.
