BLACKPINK’s Full-Length Album Release Rescheduled for December: YG Responds
Exciting news for BLACKPINK fans! While the new music release is slightly delayed, reports suggest that the group is set to unveil a studio album by the year’s end, instead of next month as initially thought. YG Entertainment has confirmed that they’ll share the official schedule with fans soon, but they’ve noted that nothing is finalized yet, even with less than two months until the anticipated release.
BLACKPINK’s Comeback Delayed
As per a report from Xports News on October 16, BLACKPINK is actively preparing for a new album set for a December release. Contrary to earlier beliefs, this will be a full-length album rather than a mini-album. Initially, it was thought that the group would debut new music in November; however, the release has now been pushed to mid-December, shifting the timeline back by a month from the plans originally shared by Yang Hyun Suk.
Uncertainty Surrounding the Schedule
According to YG Entertainment, “Nothing has been decided regarding the group’s comeback,” in a statement to Maeil Kyungjae. Fans are eagerly anticipating a surprise drop as Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa prepare to release their first group album in over three years, following their last effort, BORN PINK, which came out in 2022. Earlier this year, they released a single titled JUMP, which garnered an enthusiastic response from millions of fans around the globe.
Upcoming Tour and Concert Updates
Initially, BLACKPINK was expected to perform their new tracks during the latter half of the DEADLINE World Tour. After a two-month break dedicated to working on their album, the group will resume concerts shortly in Kaohsiung. Recently, they’ve added 2 new shows to their tour, which is now slated to wrap up on January 26, 2026. Fans are fully engaged, speculating about additional global performances as the tour expands through Asia.
