Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen, 34, and his wife, Princess Anisha Rosnah, 30, are excitedly preparing for parenthood. On October 14, the royal couple revealed through an Instagram post that they are expecting their first child together.

The endearing announcement featured a cozy photograph of the couple in matching white outfits, showcasing Princess Anisha’s baby bump. In the caption, Prince Abdul Mateen captured the moment perfectly, saying, “And then there were three.”

Interestingly, this joyful news follows their wedding in January 2024, which featured an impressive ten days of celebrations. Since the announcement, congratulatory messages have flooded in for the couple, including a sweet note from Malaysia’s Henry Golding, who expressed his excitement with, “Congrats you two.”

Prince Abdul Mateen, known as Asia’s eligible bachelor, is the tenth child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. His dedication to sports is evident, having represented Brunei in polo during the Southeast Asian Games held in 2017 and 2019, where his team earned bronze medals.
