As she prepares for her entry into Bollywood with **Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan**, Shanaya Kapoor is learning to manage the intense public scrutiny that comes with fame. In a revealing interview, she shared her perspective on online negativity, indicating that she does not shy away from it—in fact, she actively looks for such comments.
Shanaya’s Perspective on Negative Feedback
“I’m someone who looks for negative articles and comments. I think it’s important to understand what the audience is saying,” Shanaya noted during her conversation with **Screen**.
While many celebrities prefer to ignore online hate, Shanaya’s proactive stance—especially regarding personal criticisms—sets her apart. She acknowledged that some remarks can be “very brutal,” especially comments on her appearance.
“It can feel harsh at times, targeting my clothing, looks, or body. But I’ve learned to filter these comments out over time. I’ve undergone a personal journey, and I’ve figured out what I can set aside and what I should take constructively. I view it as feedback to improve my craft,” she explained.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: A New Beginning
The trailer for **Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan** was released on Tuesday, and it received positive responses from fans. This film marks the debut of Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, alongside Vikrant Massey, who plays a blind character. Directed by Santosh Singh and written by Mansi Bagla, the film will be available in theaters on July 11.
