Rajvir Jawanda, a noted Punjabi singer and actor, tragically passed away at the age of 37 due to severe injuries from a motorcycle accident in Himachal Pradesh.

The Punjabi entertainment industry is in mourning after the passing of popular figure Rajvir Jawanda, who died on Wednesday, October 8, at 10:55 a.m. in Fortis Hospital, Mohali. He was just 37.

Rajvir’s Wife Expressed Concern

Rajvir Jawanda struggled for his life for 11 days after a serious accident on September 27 in Himachal Pradesh, which resulted in critical spinal injuries and brain damage. He was on life support for the duration of his hospital stay.

Friends close to the family disclosed that Rajvir’s wife had urgently pleaded with him not to embark on the bike trip that ultimately resulted in his tragic fate. A friend stated, “She warned him against going, but he didn’t heed her advice.” He had assured her that he would return quickly, keeping their last conversation private.

Rajvir was known to keep his personal life guarded, rarely sharing details or images of his wife on social media, firmly separating his family life from his public persona.

The Punjabi music and film community has been inundated with tributes, mourning the loss of one of their cherished talents. Actor Neeru Bajwa paid tribute by sharing his picture on Instagram, captioning it, “Gone too soon.” Though heartfelt, the post was eventually removed.
