Sharon Osbourne Reflects on the Love Following Ozzy's Passing

## The Osbournes’ Journey of Love and Loss

The Osbourne family continues to feel supported by fans following the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. Jack Osbourne recently spoke on *Good Morning America*, sharing insights on how the family is coping since the metal icon’s death in July. He reflected on their relationship ahead of the upcoming memoir, *Last Rites*.

### Family Reflections

“None of us expected such an outpouring of love,” Jack remarked. He elaborated on his mother, Sharon Osbourne’s feelings, saying, “When people ask me how she’s doing, I tell them she’s OK, but she’s not OK.” The family is navigating this painful period with the community’s encouragement.

### Insights on *Last Rites*

The memoir, scheduled for release on October 7, was finalized shortly before Ozzy’s passing. Jack shared that reading the final chapter was particularly challenging for him. In a separate Q&A, he mentioned that not many family members have read the book yet due to the tough circumstances. “For me, the last chapter is what I’ve reflected on the most. He finished it just a few days before he passed,” Jack stated.

### A Final Farewell

*Last Rites* isn’t the only project Ozzy completed before his death; he also performed his last concert with Black Sabbath. Jack emphasized the dedication Ozzy had to deliver that performance, saying, “My father fought a very hard fight to get on that stage in Birmingham on July 5. He was determined to say goodbye to his fans.”

Jack recalled the emotional moment before his father went on stage: “I ran back into the dressing room, gave him a big hug, and told him to crush it. I was in tears, and my brother and I were just crying in the crowd.”
