### Record-Breaking Sales

*The Life of a Showgirl* is already on a remarkable path, potentially on track to surpass Adele’s *25* for the largest sales week recorded in recent history. According to Luminate data, Swift’s album sold 2.7 million copies just on its first day, October 3. This incredible sales figure includes all digital and physical editions released up to that point, and one day in, it’s poised to be Swift’s best sales week ever. Only Adele’s *25* has seen higher first-day numbers, which were 3.378 million at its debut in 2015.

Swift has also introduced various special editions of her 12th studio album, including a Target-exclusive vinyl edition titled *The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd Is Your King*. This edition features a distinct “Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer” color and includes a poem by the artist.
