Oasis Guitarist Bonehead to Undergo Prostate Cancer Treatment, Missing Australia Shows

## Paul Arthurs’ Cancer Diagnosis
Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs has revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year. Unfortunately, this means he will not be joining the band for the next segment of their reunion tour.
## Treatment and Future Plans
In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Arthurs shared that he has responded positively to treatment, which allowed him to be part of the first phase of the reunion. However, he mentioned needing a planned break for the next stage of his care, resulting in his absence from upcoming concerts in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.
> “I’m really sad to be missing these shows, but I’m feeling good and will return in time for South America,” Arthurs stated. He encouraged fans attending the shows: “Have an amazing time this month, and I’ll see you back on stage in November.”

## Support from Oasis
Oasis took to their Instagram Stories to express their support for Arthurs, saying, “Wishing you all the best with your treatment… we’ll see you back on stage in South America.” They have not yet announced a substitute guitarist for the upcoming shows.
## Previous Health Issues
This isn’t Arthurs’ first battle with cancer. In 2022, he took a break from performing due to a diagnosis of tonsillar cancer but later shared that he was in remission after successful treatment.
## Reunion Tour Updates
Oasis recently completed the U.K. segment of their reunion tour with two concerts at Wembley Stadium in London. They are set to continue with shows in Asia and Australia this month. The South American portion of the tour starts on November 15 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, concluding on November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.
