Media Reports: Zubeen Garg Passes Away While Swimming in Singapore

Reports indicate that the esteemed singer was aboard a yacht along with a group when the unfortunate incident occurred. A video shared on social platforms depicted him swimming while wearing a life jacket, only for him to remove it moments later.

In light of the event, the Singapore Police have advised the public against sharing footage related to Garg’s death.

His death certificate lists drowning as the cause. Garg had been in Singapore for the celebrations marking 60 years of Indian-Singapore relations.

Additionally, Garg’s manager and the chief organizer of the festival have been taken into custody in connection with the case. They face charges, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder and negligence.
