BBC Releases Trailer for Coming Home
The BBC has unveiled the trailer for Coming Home, a documentary centered on Ozzy Osbourne that is set to debut on October 2. The film features Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, as they express their desire to return to the U.K.

The trailer begins with the couple enjoying a ride in a car. “I’m so looking forward to an English summer,” Ozzy states during an interview. Upon reaching their Buckinghamshire mansion, Sharon remarks that they’ve always considered this place home. Ozzy responds enthusiastically, “It looks magnificent, Sharon.”
Sharon questions Ozzy about wanting a “quiet life” in his later years. His reply is an amusing contradiction: “No… Yes, but no.” Their daughter, Kelly Osbourne, humorously adds, “I don’t think it’s possible for either one of them to retire, ever.”
Documentary Insights
Originally slated to air on August 18, Coming Home was postponed at the family’s request. Directed by Paula Wittig, the one-hour documentary captures three years of the Osbourne family’s journey. Initially announced as a series titled Home To Roost in 2022, the project evolved due to Ozzy’s ongoing health issues. He has been battling Parkinson’s disease and recovering from a serious fall in 2019.
The BBC describes this show as a “remarkably candid and uplifting tribute” to one of music’s true icons. It offers “unique and intimate access” to the entire Osbourne family, along with footage of Ozzy preparing for his farewell concert, which occurred shortly before his passing.
Upcoming Releases on Osbourne
In addition to Coming Home, Paramount+ has also premiered a trailer for its own Ozzy documentary titled No Escape From Now. This film will also cover the past three years of Osbourne’s life and is expected to release on October 7.
