Mohanlal’s Daughter Vismaya Set to Make Acting Debut in Thudakkam

Mohanlal is enjoying a remarkable 2025, following the successful releases of L2 Empuraan and Thudarum. Recently, the actor announced that his daughter, Vismaya Mohanlal, will debut in the film industry. He shared the first look poster of the movie on his X account.

Mohanlal unveiled the first look of Thudakkam and expressed his wishes in the caption: “Dear Mayakutty, may your ‘Thudakkam’ be just the first step in a lifelong love affair with cinema. #Thudakkam. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, #VismayaMohanlal.”
Mohanlal married Suchitra in 1988 and they have two children — Pranav and Vismaya. Pranav made his acting debut as a child in Onnaman (2002) and gained fame for his lead role in the romantic drama Hridayam (2022).
About Mohanlal’s Recent Work
Mohanlal was last seen in Thudarum, a crime thriller directed by Tharun and co-written by KR Sunil. Produced by M Renjith through Rejaputhra Visual Media, the film features supporting roles played by Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, and others.
The story revolves around Shanmugham ‘Benz’, a simple taxi driver whose life changes when his beloved car disappears, forcing him to confront his dark side. The film received a positive response and was released on JioHotstar on May 30.
Next up, Mohanlal will be seen in Hridayapoorvam, set to release in August.
