Kate Bollinger Unveils Exciting Tour Dates for Australia and New Zealand

Kelly Clarkson Delays Las Vegas Residency Right Before Opening Night

Multidisciplinary artist Kate Bollinger is set to make her much-anticipated debut in Australia and New Zealand in early 2026. Her international touring experience alongside artists like Faye Webster, Tennis, and Devendra Banhart has established her as a captivating performer.

After years of anticipation, Bollinger will grace Australian stages for the first time in January next year, performing headline shows in key cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Additionally, she’ll take the stage in New Zealand at venues like Auckland’s Double Whammy and the newly launched Hawke’s Bay music festival events, SLACKBARN! and SLACKSUNDAYS!.

Her Unique Sound

Bollinger has quietly emerged as a distinctive voice within the indie pop scene. Her debut album, Songs From A Thousand Frames of Mind, released in 2024, received critical acclaim. Stereogum described it as “strikingly beautiful,” while The Fader praised it as “an impeccable suite of quietly rich indie pop.”

Her musical style artfully meshes classic pop sensibility with subtle punk influences. Drawing inspiration from ’60s legends like Françoise Hardy and the Velvet Underground, as well as ’90s acts such as Pavement and the Elephant 6 Collective, her work feels like a treasure trove of favorite tracks just waiting to be discovered.

New Music and Collaborations

Bollinger has recently shared a new track, “Lonely (Virginia Strings Version),” from her forthcoming Deluxe Edition. This version features a lush string arrangement, providing a fresh take on the original song. She aims to create more intimate, home-recorded renditions of her earlier works, drawing from their initial inspiration.

Additionally, she collaborated with Cut Copy on their recent single “Belong to You.” This dreamy track showcases her ethereal vocals combined with the infectious electronic sound that the Australian group is known for.
