When life presents challenges, Louis Tomlinson responds with creativity. On Tuesday, he unveiled his new single, “Lemonade,” and shared the news about his upcoming third studio album, *How Did I Get Here?*, set to release on January 23, 2026.

In his own words, Tomlinson described this album as “the record I always deserved to make.” He expressed that honesty is at the heart of his music. “I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music,” he added.

## The Journey Ahead
“I’m still learning and getting better as a singer and songwriter,” Tomlinson reflected. He emphasized that complacency isn’t an option for him. This upcoming release allows him to embrace the artist he has always aspired to be.
Collaborating closely with his main partner, Nico Rebscher, Tomlinson dedicated three weeks in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, to this project. “Taking all the steps I did to get here was important. I needed the confidence to become the artist I wanted to be and make a personal album,” he shared.
## About the Single “Lemonade”
The lead single, “Lemonade,” captures a complex relationship, showcasing someone who’s both “bitter” and “sweet.” Tomlinson wanted the song to convey auditory ambition. “It had to be big and fun,” he noted. He believes “Lemonade” perfectly encapsulates the essence of this new musical chapter.

In addition to his album release, Tomlinson is gearing up for the Away From Home Festival in Cooperstown, New York. He will headline this exciting event, featuring performances from artists like Steve Aoki, Lauv, Plain White T’s, Daya, and Isaac Anderson.
