Spider-Man Films Set for India Re-Release with Holland, Maguire, and Garfield

Spider-Man: Brand New Day might still be on the horizon, but the beloved web-slinger is swinging back into Indian theatres this year. Along with Tom Holland, both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will reprise their iconic roles. All Spider-Man films, including the animated Spider-Verse series, are slated to return to cinemas in November.

Exciting Cinema Event

Spider-Man, one of Marvel Comics’ most beloved characters, has been portrayed by three actors in live-action films. Tobey Maguire first donned the Spider-Man suit in Sam Raimi’s trilogy beginning in 2002. Andrew Garfield took over in the 2012 reboot series, The Amazing Spider-Man, followed by Tom Holland, who became the friendly neighborhood superhero in 2016.

This November will see all three film series hitting Indian screens. Tobey Maguire’s trilogy kicks off the re-release on November 14, followed by Andrew Garfield’s films on November 21. The series concludes with Tom Holland’s trilogy on November 28, culminating in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where all three Spider-Men share the screen together.

Return of the Spider-Verse

Fans will also rejoice as the acclaimed animated films from the Spider-Verse series will begin re-releasing on December 5, extending the celebration.

This special re-release aims to honor longtime fans while inviting a new audience to experience these pivotal stories. As Shony Panjikaran, General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International, India, puts it, “Spider-Man is one of the most enduring and inspirational characters in the world. Bringing back all his films to Indian cinemas is a way to honor the fans who have loved him for decades, while also giving new audiences the chance to experience these iconic stories on the grandest scale.”
